You Won't Believe The Benefits of Ashwagandha

You've probably heard about the benefits of Ginseng, but did you know there is another suppliment with even more benefits? Ashwagandha is an herb from India that is renowned for its physical and mental benefits. In addition to being important in Ayurveda medicine, this herb has quickly become popular for western herbalists as well. Herbalists frequently use ashwagandha root for people who are chronically STRESSED, run down, prone to frequent colds and flus, and those who have degenerative diseases such as arthritis.

It is one of my favorites! For good reason too, you won't believe the benefits of taking it as a suppliment!

Ashwagandha has been found to be effective in dealing with a variety of rheumatologic problems. The herb is known to act as a cyclooxygenase inhibitor that decreases inflammation and pain.

Recent research on Ashwagandha conducted at the AIST in Japan has reported that the leaves of Ashwagandha can even selectively inhibit cancer cells.

Ashwagandha stimulates the Thyroid Gland!

In cases of hypothyroidism, Ashwagandha can be used to stimulate the thyroid gland. A study revealed that the root extract, if given on a daily basis, would increase the secretion of thyroid hormones.

Ashwagandha is a known mood-boosting herb:

Research suggests that the therapeutic plant may play a potential role in fighting mood imbalance. It improves resistance to stress, possibly decreasing cortisol production.

Ashwagandha has long been used to support sexual desire and fertility

Stress, illness, hormone imbalance, and nutrient deficiencies are bad for female reproductive health and make it difficult to conceive. Research shows that ashwagandha supports thyroid function, an organ responsible for regulating hormones. It can also boost testosterone and increase fertility in men.
