Make Nut Milks Yourself

We recently talked about health issues associated with the consumption of cow’s milk, and many of you have asked me about alternatives. Organic, unsweetened coconut milk and almond milk in the stores seem like great products at first, but are they really as “healthy” as people believe?

I already warned you about some ingredients in store brand milks. Lets review them again and inspire you to try making delicious, homemade milk yourself!

Check the product labels. What do they add to those milks? Synthetic vitamin A is associated with birth defects and bone fractures. Vitamin D2 is manufactured industrially by irradiating yeast. Carrageenan is formally classified by the International Agency for Research on Cancer as a potential human carcinogen. Guar gum, the endosperm of guar beans, is difficult to digest, especially for people with digestive problems. Different store brands all have many other additives! Choose your alternative milk very carefully or better try making it yourself.

Have you ever tried to make your own homemade nut or seed milk? This stuff is good. Really good! Once you learn how easy it is to make it for yourself, you may never drink store-bought again.

You can easily make hemp, almond, coconut, flax, turmeric milk- you name it! You can use the bag for many different things such as: milk, juicing & cold brew coffee.
