Best Tomato Salad Ever

Do you guys want to try the best ever tomato salad? It's soo good! I'm sure it's pretty hard to surprise you with just a tomato salad, but trust me that the right tomato salad can bring out unexpected flavors. Its not complicated either, this recipe is, in fact, very simple. The most interesting thing we are going to make is a honey dressing. Yes, the combination of tomatoes, onions and honey is delicious.

Remember that tomatoes are good for your skin and hair. Tomatoes contain a considerable amount of Calcium and Vitamin K. Both of these nutrients are essential for the bones health. They are excellent antioxidants and good for your heart. They are also good for your kidneys and eyes.

If you smoke, load up on tomatoes! Tomatoes can reduce the amount of damaged done to your body by smoking cigarettes. They contain coumaric acid and chlorogenic acid that work to protect the body from the carcinogens produced in cigarette smoke.

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 medium Tomatoes
  • ½ Onions (can use more if you like)
  • ½ teaspoon Honey
  • ½ teaspoon Apple cider or Wine Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon good quality Olive oil
  • 2-3 leaves fresh Basil
  • ½ teaspoon Tuscan herbs (use your favorite herbs)
  • Pinch Black pepper
  • Pinch Cayenne pepper
  • Pink Himalayan salt to taste (regular sea salt works too)

Directions:

  1. Cut tomato in half and slice each half into thin slices.
  2. Peel the onion, cut it in half and slice very thin semicircles. Add them to the tomatoes.
  3. For the dressing add olive oil and honey to a small bowl. Add Himalayan salt, pepper, and Cayenne pepper to taste. Add vinegar and whisk until mixed.
  4. Pour dressing on your salad, add herbs, mix and enjoy!
